Sean Jeffords is the founding principal of Beyond Green Construction, a comprehensive multi-service green building outfit, 
established in August of 1998. Jeffords is a licensed construction supervisor who had been building and renovating residential and commercial buildings with advanced framing and insulation techniques since 1987. He had successfully planned and completed complicated residential and commercial retrofits that have provided substantial energy reductions by using the “Buildings as a System” approach. Jeffords retrofit projects have been featured on the Discovery Channel series “Renovation Nation” with Steve Thomas of This Old House, WGBY’s “Making it Here”, 22News, and many other media outlets.
In addition to his work with Beyond Green Construction he is passionate about volunteering as well as education. He has been a guest lecturer at UMass Amherst, Amherst College, Greenfield Community College and taught “Intro to Sustainable Living” and “Energy Efficiency” at Holyoke Community College.
Mr. Jeffords is also the President and co-founder of the Western Mass Green Consortium, a resource association for individuals, businesses, organizations and educators committed to environmentally and socially responsible business practices.
